Ray Moore aged 40, a former RUC officer and soldier who lived in Tandragee, County Armagh Northern Ireland and worked as a security advisor in Iraq died in a roadside explosion .
He worked for ArmorGroup International and had just been honoured by the Royal Humane Society for helping to rescue US soldiers after a suicide bomb attack, he and five others worked in searing heat to remove slabs of concrete and drag servicemen out from under a bridge that was ready to collapse, he was described as a very brave individual and is survived by his partner.
Saving people in June and now being the one that needs saved its all very sad and too many good people have been lost in this mess.
